Profile Updates, Achievements & Bug Fixes
Summary: Profile redesign, achievements overhaul, leaderboard expansion, guild quest improvements, and critical bug fixes.
Leaderboard
- SideQuest has now surpassed 200 players!
- Leaderboard "Top" filter capacity has been increased to top 300
Profile
- Achievements —> "Badges" have been renamed to "Achievements" and given its own dedicated section on the profile, separate from the inventory
- Achievement categories have been re-organized to show proper character progression hierarchy
- Customization —> Styles and a new "Character Customization" tab have been combined into the palette icon, now displayed on the top right of the profile beside the equipment icon
- Equipment —> Equipment icon has been changed from a hanger into a shield
Achievements
- Added 5 new Weekly Tier badges —> earn badges for finishing a week at Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond tier
- Added 5 new Guild Contribution badges —> earn badges for contributing 10k, 50k, 100k, 250k, or 500k XP to your guild
Guild Quests
- Added "Guild Quests Locked" information for guilds that are not yet level 3
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a critical bug where player data was sometimes only partially saved to the server
- Fixed a critical bug where players could leave a guild and join another to dump prior gathered contribution XP (LOL!)
- Fixed a bug where guilds were not able to level up when reaching the XP completion threshold (no XP was lost, this was corrected manually)
- Fixed a bug where Grix's quest dialogue was not responsive on some phone screens
- Fixed a bug where the notification saying "{{Steps}} and no expedition?" now properly says 5,000
- Fixed a bug where some players were still seeing a ghost notification on their story tab
Server
- Database now automatically creates daily backups for all player data
