• SideQuest has now surpassed 300 players!
• Leaderboards now support browsing up to the top 400

Hair Customization

• Players can now customize their character with various hair colors
• Visit the Shop to browse available hair colors

NPCs

• Meet Aldwin, the Tutorial Guide
• Aldwin helps players learn the basics of SideQuest and answer common questions
• Aldwin will continue receiving updated image references over time
• Story tab UI has been updated
• Grix's normal potion brewing price increased from 300 coins to 500 coins
• Grix can now brew Volatile Potions for 900 coins
• NPC dialogue now uses a fixed-height scroll area for longer text
• NPC dialogue now advances more smoothly when tapping through conversations

Profile

• Inventory and Styles now display NEW tags so players can better spot newly unlocked items
• Improved the user interface for Styles and Customize sections

New Quests

• The Wanderer: Master Explorer

Requirement: Lv. 55 | Complete 30 expeditions and make 50 discoveries

• The Wanderer: Weekly Road Trial

Requirement: Lv. 70 | Complete a randomized step challenge with player-chosen difficulty

• Beastmaster: Companion Keeper

Requirement: Lv. 25 | Own 3 pets

• Beastmaster: Evolution Warden

Requirement: Lv. 45 | Own 3 pets at Lv. 3 evolution

• Vera: Loyal Member

Requirement: Lv. 55 | Contribute 50,000 guild XP

• Vera: Guild Champion

Requirement: Lv. 55 | Contribute 250,000 guild XP to a Lv. 5+ guild

Monster Encounters

• Early monster battles were winning less often than intended, especially for newer players
• Several monster stats were adjusted to slightly improve overall win rates
• Berserker variant ATK reduced from 1.3x to 1.2x
• Berserker variant speed adjusted from 0.8x to 0.9x
• Skeleton Archer ATK reduced from 32 to 30
• Orc Rider ATK reduced from 34 to 32
• Elite Orc ATK reduced from 32 to 30

Shop

• Introducing hair color customization
• Companion Trio has been renamed to Pet Pack #1
• Pet Pack #1 and gem pets can now be purchased more than once
• Founder's Pack now properly reflects your country's currency instead of a hardcoded USD value
• Improved the overall Shop user interface

Economy note: Several coin and gem prices were adjusted, including emotes, spellbooks, potions, theme items, bundles, and streak protection.

Notifications

• Updated guild partner quest completion notifications

Languages

• Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Japanese have all been updated

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a critical bug where monster encounter rolls were sometimes not included in background sync when the app was fully closed
• Fixed Android safe-area handling for top and bottom navigation
• Fixed Android local storage interfering with fresh re-installs
• Fixed inventory NEW indicators sometimes persisting after items were seen
• Fixed players sometimes receiving monster encounter ghost notifications
• Fixed Speed Walk guild quests sometimes not completing properly
• Fixed guild contribution thresholds (4th time's the charm)
• Fixed discovery guild quests showing item IDs instead of item names
• Fixed long guild names displaying poorly on smaller screens
• Fixed Claim Reward First text alignment for completed expeditions
• Fixed the best gem pack awarding twice as many gems (LOL!)
• Fixed gem shop pet prompts incorrectly saying pets cannot be released
• Fixed Grix's dialogue being cut off at the end
• Fixed multiple visual quest state bugs for in-progress and completed quests
